BLUE DREAM

The origins of Blue Dream are shrouded in mystery. Its first recorded appearance was at the Medical Cannabis Collectives in Santa Cruz, California around 2003. There were no substantiated claims as to who the original breeder was and whoever invented Blue Dream has remained unknown to this day. The "Blue" in Blue Dream comes from the sweet, but mild blueberry flavor and aroma, inherited from one of its parent plants, DJ Blueberry. The "Dream" aspect of the name is derived from its cerebral effects, inspiring heady contemplation and creativity. This Sativa-dominant hybrid is just as good for getting work done as it is for relaxing. It is especially helpful for cultivating high energy and increased imagination for working through creative pursuits. 

Whenever I think of Blue Dream I immediately imagine looking up at the bluest and most beautiful sky, lying on the ground watching the clouds pass. I wanted to capture the essence of that feeling of serenity and freedom in both mind and body. I created this natural dreamscape populated with colorful marijuana plants as far as the eye can see, to set a frame of reference, a tangential jumping-off point for the imagination of the viewer to take hold and initiate a journey of introspection, like a curtain to the window of your own mind. Your Blue Dream will be found inside of the psychic journey through this magical forest.
